Widowed mom with one daughter and five cats. Plus a grandma to six fur babies. I also foster kittens for our local SPCA but in my spare time I love collecting anything vintage but especially glass and pottery. Thifting is my passion. For me it's like playing a game of hide and seek. The treasures are hiding and I seek them out. There is no greater thrill than finding the one special "thing" that was hiding in plain sight.

Fenton Plum Opalescent Hobnail Open Comport/Candy Bowl 5 1/2” X 6”
Beautiful mistakes were made. This color originally arose from a production mistake. Now this has become one of the most desirable colors to collect. Lovely deep plum color that ombré to a pale lavender shade with a silver crest rim on the ruffled top. No Fenton sticker in place nor a Fenton stamped logo. Therefore this piece pre dates 1972.
