Joanne Finnegan
@grandmajo
I'm a retired teacher trying to clean out my house of all the stuff accumulated from four generations of my family. My goal in life is to not leave a mess for my family to clean up after I die! I've sold on other platforms for a few years now, but after watching Joselyn's videos I decided to try NikNax. I love to see thrifting videos since I've always shopped at thrift stores, passing on that love to my daughter. I also love to see what others have to sell and have been known to buy some things that I just can't pass up, of course adding to more "stuff." All of my items come from a smoke-free home. We have one cat that I try to keep away from things that I'm selling, especially clothing or other items that could collect cat dander.

Far And Wide Junior Scientist Book - 1955
This science text book which appears to be written for upper elementary school students was published in 1955. It has wonderful illustrations and photographs from the 1950s - both color and black & white. Each chapter ends with a science vocabulary list, a synopsis or "Things to Remember," and an activity. See pictures! The book cover is shelf worn with some smudging. There is a school stamp, a price and owner's name inside the front cover. There are pen notes next to chapters in the table of contents. One page has a tear due to my clumsiness when checking for other writing! The binding is very tight and pages are crisp, however pages do have yellowing around the edges and some marks on a few pages. I believe this book may have been one my daughter bought to re-sell online when she was selling books to earn money for college. It has been stored in a closet in the living part of the house (not in a cellar or garage). Non-smoking home. One cat. **** Please see pictures to see condition of the book! And, feel free to ask questions!******
