EAPG Venus AKA Royal Lady Covered Low Comport

EAPG Venus AKA Royal Lady Covered Low Comport is 9 1/4" tall x 8 3/4" wide. Made by the Belmont Glass Works in Bellaire Ohio that operated from 1866 to 1890. They introduced this pattern in 1882. This beautiful pattern features a band of scrolls and beads with the Lady's head embossed in the lower band. It has a skirted base. The inner lip that holds the lid has some small chips as well as a small chip under one foot. The clear band of the bowl has distinct cut lines.... whether a defect or damage is unknown.
