Dymkovo Russian Folk Art Pottery Goat In A Dress

These clay figures are handmade and unique. Made mostly by women in the village of Dymkovo, they are hand formed, dried in the open air, fired in an oven or kiln, whitewashed with a solution of chalk and skimmed milk and painted with colorful distemper eggs yolk paints. No chips or cracks, but normal paint loss. Approximately 5” tall 3” at widest ( I will be listing more of this collection in the future)
