#107 - Drip Glazed Ceramic Turtle Figure, Green, Yellow & White
Hobbyist? 6" Excellent condition with no chips, 2 bits of crazing noted on bottom of one foot and tail. Photos provided. I fell in love with this little guy based on the way the face is painted. He looks up at you and his expression is so real. I figure this must be a hobbyist piece. I tried to decipher the copyright mark on the underside to see if it's one of the molds but I couldn't read it. Thus all the pictures of the underside. The crazing I refer to is really hard to see AND on the underside. It's on one foot and the tail. But the glaze and the face paint are both really well done whether it's a hobbyist piece or not, he has charisma. Thanks for looking!
