9”L x 8”W x 1 5/8” Scarce or Rare Spode shell-shaped dessert dish in the iconic "Tumbledown Dick" pattern (Pattern No. 3716). Dating to the early 19th-century English Regency period (ca. 1822–1824), this piece is a premier example of Spode’s innovative Chinoiserie-inspired designs Overall excellent vintage condition for its age, displaying the natural crazing/crackle-glaze typical of this period Very Small chip underside of rim. Looks bigger in picture than it really is.
