Dole Valve Co Bakelite Candle Holder with Candle. Scarce, art deco style candle holder with *original U shaped Candle* Base is done in a chrome finish, mounted on a Bakelite stepped base. Really unique in their "U" shaped design After much searching, this is the only Dole Valve Candle holder currently available that includes the original U shaped candle! The candle has a wick on each end to burn to meet in the middle. This was made by the "Dole Valve Co. in Chicago Illinois" and is marked on the base and inside the metal candle area. Condition- Base and candle show aging. Chrome is pretty worn and scratched up. The black bakelite looks pretty good but it has lost its shine. Candle has discolorations and indents- probably from being left in an odd position in the heat. It has maintained its U shape well and has no cracks. Neither end has been lit. The base is 4" x 7" in a step design. The "U" shape is 8" wide and 1" wide and 6" tall. With the candle this has an overall height of 13.5" Please note that this cannot be shipped in extreme heat. Heat may warp or melt the candle. Shipping will be delayed to accommodate shipping needs.
