Discontinued Hofbauer "Byrdes Collection" Crystal Hexagonal Candy Dish Etched Birds, Ruby Red Lidded & Footed, Germany
This 24% leaded crystal candy dish from Germany is adorned with sweet birds, from the etched ruby red panels on 3 sides to the lid and feet. Yes, even the feet are made of birds! There are no issues with any of the birds or the top edge of the bowl. I found two corners of the lid that were slightly sharp. There are also two lines in the inside bottom of the piece. I'm not sure if that's normal for these pieces so I just wanted to mention for full disclosure. I've provided photos of all possible issues. The manufacturer sticker is still present. Each axis measures 5" across and the whole piece is about 7" tall including the top finial. This piece will still make you stop and take a second look as all beautiful crystal does.
