Darling Vintage 10 OZ Turn And Burn NC Pottery Mug with A Cat Design

This mug was created by the iconic duo who run Turn and Burn Pottery in Seagrove NC. I have many pieces of theirs, and love every one. This one is a bit unique, and the only one like this that I have seen produced by the couple who make the pottery. The simple yet striking cat design is a true testament to their craftmanship. Signed and dated 1990. About Turn and Burn Pottery Just a couple of hundred yards from “the” stoplight in Seagrove, and a block away from the historic “Plank Road”, David and Deborah Garner ply their trade, just like David’s forefathers did almost 300 years ago. David’s involvement with clay and pottery began at such an early age, he can’t quite remember when he first saw a pot being turned on a potter’s wheel.
