Condition: Pre-owned vintage hand painted terracotta vase in decorative display condition. No structural cracks or repairs; handle and rim are sound. Painted surfaces show light surface wear, scattered small scuffs, and a few tiny nicks in the black finish on the rim, handle, and foot. Underside and foot ring show rubbing, color variation, and small shallow flakes in the painted finish from shelf contact. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.

Item: Small vintage handled terracotta vase with flared mouth, narrow neck, rounded body, and single strap handle.
Design: Exterior decorated in a Greek black-figure style with stylized long-tailed birds, lotus-like floral motifs, and small scattered flowers framed by painted borders around the shoulder and lower body.
Color: Matte yellow ochre ground with black and deep burgundy decoration; neck, handle, and foot finished in solid black.
Material / Technique: Terracotta earthenware formed in a classical amphora-style shape and hand painted with detailed bird and floral motifs.
Markings: Hand painted on the base No 293, Detail from a Corinthian hydria about 540 B.C. Cambridge Museum, Made in Greece, by D. Vassilopoulos; no printed barcodes or modern factory codes are visible in the photos.
