This vase is in good overall condition with one small chip on the base, clearly seen in the pictures. The vase measures approximately 10" tall x 12" wide x 8 1/4 deep and 4 1/2" across at the base. Brock was a glass blowing instructor at the Appalachian Center for Crafts in Smithville, Tennessee. He is an established glass artist with pieces in museum collections around the world. He founded CB Glass as a way to develop limited edition pieces that highlight function and originality. Many of his pieces were produced with the mindset of how light and glass interact. And many of his pieces change colors or cast beautiful shadows in the presence of strong light. And this piece is no exception, when the light shines through it, the vase is breathtaking. Please know this vase is very heavy.
