Crewel Needlework Adaptation of a Famous Oil Painting Titled "Still Life of Roses in a Glass Vase" by Belgian Artist Frans Mortelmans

Close up pictures of the crewel work-please check it out. Frans Mortelmans (1865-1936) was known for his still life florals. The crewel....were commonly sold as kits, normally Dimensions-circa 1990 (Kit #1376, "English Roses"). There is no indication as to who did the needlework-but they did a fine job. It is in a wood frame-framed by "Custom Framing by Northwest fabrics & Crafts". The frame has a rub on one side or edge of the painting. Is not seen when hanging. It measures approx 16.5" x 24", 4 Lbs
