This Colby Clayworks studio pottery Garlic Rubbing Dish is a contemporary piece of art pottery crafted in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. This round dish features a unique sgraffito wave and spiral pattern in the center of the dish. According to their website, the idea is to rub the garlic over the ridges, stir in olive oil, add spices, and serve with bread. The curved dish has lovely glazes in differing shades of blue, with both a glossy finish on the outer half and a matte on the inner half. The piece is signed with their standard "Colby" on the back and was made in the late 2010s.
