Chinese Yixing Bamboo Teapot "竹笑" - Zisha Clay, Bamboo Handle & Spout
Authentic-style Chinese Yixing (Zisha) teapot featuring a beautiful bamboo motif. The teapot has a rounded body with carved Chinese characters "竹笑" (Bamboo Laugh/Smile), a matching bamboo-style handle and spout, and a fitted lid. Made of dark brown unglazed stoneware clay with a smooth, matte finish that develops a rich patina over time with use. This is so cute in person and I just couldn't pass it up. Measurements (approx):
Height (with handle): ~3" Width (spout to handle): ~4"
Condition: Very good vintage/pre-owned condition with light surface wear and patina consistent with age (see all photos). No chips, cracks, or repairs. Lid fits well.
