Chinese Reverse Painted Glass Art Sphere Landscape Scene
A stunning glass "display ball" featuring the traditional Chinese art of insidepainting. The interior is handpainted with a detailed mountain landscape, including a waterfall, pine trees, and tiny figures on one side, and a soaring bird on the reverse. The glass has a frosted internal finish to hold the pigment, while the exterior remains clear and polished. Includes the original darkstained wooden pedestal stand. In excellent condition with no scratches or chips to the glass.
