Child's Sterling Silver flower butterfly pendant and necklace

Sterling silver pendant perforated in the shape of a flower or butterfly. Marked 925. Necklace is removable and is marked 925 at the clasp. The pendant is not tarnished but the clasp is. This was worn once or twice by my child about 20 years ago. The pendant is approximately 1/2" in diameter. The necklace is made of fabric (?silk) and has a 8 1/2" drop. On the underside there are shiny jewels. I thought they were pave diamonds but a jeweler told me they were not.
