#2218 Blue Mountain Pottery stylized ceramic cat figurine.

12.5” tall No chips or cracks Blue Mountain Pottery was a Canadian company founded in 1947 in Collingwood, Ontario, by artist Dennis T. Adams. The company became renowned for its distinctive, drip-glaze pottery, often featuring animal figurines, particularly cats, in a variety of colors. Their signature "Harvest Gold" glaze, a mix of brown and green, is highly recognizable and sought after by collectors. These charming figurines, often characterized by their whimsical and stylized designs, captured the mid-century modern aesthetic. The company produced a wide array of items, but their cats, with their unique expressions and glazes, became their most iconic creations. Blue Mountain Pottery ceased operations in 2004, making their pieces increasingly collectible.
