This 1991 studio-crafted "hollow form" vessel, titled "Bee Hive," is a masterful exploration of organic textures. Hand-turned from what appears to be premium Quartersawn Sycamore, the piece features spectacular medullary ray fleck and "chatoyant" shimmer that shifts in the light.The artist, signed "GJ,?” skillfully preserved a dramatic live-edge bark inclusion and a raw, natural rim, creating a striking contrast against the vessel's highly polished, glass-like finish. Its unique silhouette and natural voids make it a perfect statement piece for modern, rustic, or Wabi-Sabi inspired interiors.
