Liz Art Finds
@lizartfinds
Hi everyone! My name is Liz, and I started watching CLL (and other reseller) videos during the pandemic, and became hooked! I started in 2022 with a few online auctions and graduated to thrift stores, and listed a few things for resale to test the waters. In late summer 2023 I decided to start ramping up and working the biz every day, and started a YouTube channel in late 2023! Just mostly having fun right now and soaking in everyone's knowledge, and learning a TON! By day I work in marketing communications for a small supplement company. For fun I do nature photography and a variety of crafts (when time allows). I love being outdoors in nature, and I apparently also love the treasure hunt aspect of visiting thrift stores! I've found some really cool things so far, and I can't wait to share some of them here with you all! :-) If you are new to District, you can use my code, "LIZAR8" for $5 off your first Buy It Now OR Auction purchase of $10 or more, anywhere on Niknax! Thanks for stopping by!

BIN - Beautiful Hand Knit Crossbody Purse By Indiana Artist Frederica Schaefer
Measures 11” long and 8.5 wide. Handle drop is 24.5”. Frederica Schaefer was a multi-talented artist and adventurer who passed on Sept 7, 2025, on day before her 85th birthday. You can learn a bit about the artist from her obituary, “Her lively personality was reflected in her Nantucket basket weaving, her knitting and intricately decorated handbags and painted furniture. She tried woodworking, silver smithing and drawing. She learned how to use a jigsaw and cut out dozens of Christmas ornaments to raise money for a local church. She learned how to load horses into trailers, tend to rock gardens and identify wildflowers everywhere she went. Fredy was an avid field hockey player in her youth, a sailor, a swimmer and a fierce tennis player to name but a few of her many athletic interests. Fredy’s crowning achievement for which she is the best known was her ability to capture the nuances in the faces and figures of her many bronze sculptures, a medium uncommon for women of her generation…” wow! This piece does not look to have been used. It’s in excellent condition; a beautiful art piece, and will make a fabulous gift for someone unique and special.
