Amazing vintage wooden jewelry box featuring a reverse-painted glass silhouette of a Victorian scene. It is likely from the Art Deco period, specifically around the 1930s or 1940s. The top features a silhouette of figures on a creamy yellow background,and a mirror on the reverse side. The box has a carved or textured wood frame. For its age, it’s an amazing condition. The reverse painting amazingly 99% intact. The mirror does show some patina, and there are some spots inside the box, but besides that overall it’s in amazing condition for its age. It is approximately 5.8 x 8 1/2“
