Widowed mom with one daughter and five cats. Plus a grandma to six fur babies. I also foster kittens for our local SPCA but in my spare time I love collecting anything vintage but especially glass and pottery. Thifting is my passion. For me it's like playing a game of hide and seek. The treasures are hiding and I seek them out. There is no greater thrill than finding the one special "thing" that was hiding in plain sight.

This fish paperweight features a stylized sculptural form with a vibrant green interior encased in crystal clear glass. It is crafted using the sommerso technique (colored glass dipped into another layer of molten glass) to create the layered effect without the colors mixing. There is a tiny flea bite at the edge of the nicely polished base. This does not affect the beauty of the piece.
