He is known for his intricate and expressive glass creations, with his works having been displayed in galleries worldwide. Born in Murano in 1950, he began working in a furnace at a very young age with Master Albino Carrara. Tosi is celebrated for his use of traditional Murano methods like Filigrana, Zanfrico, and Reticello, which he adapts to contemporary tastes. He also introduced the "external sbruffi" technique to enhance color vibrancy. He established his own glassworks studio in 1973. His work has attracted commissions from notable figures and is featured in various museums and galleries, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.
