Antique-W.H. Grindley & Co-England-Blue Flow Soap Dish-Pattern is Identified on the Back as "Marseilles"-it is Floral w/ Foliage
There is a Makers Mark as a stamp, there is also embossing and logo. There is a # 12 in blue on the back as well. This maybe a serving dish? It appears to me to be a soap dish. The Merseilles pattern is transferware. This was produced from approximately 1891 - 1914. The maker is W.H. grindley & Co from Hanley/Burslem, England. I'm not sure if this piece would have had a matching lid? If so, it would be far more valuable. There is rust like discoloration under a small area under the rim of the piece. Very minimal scratches on the bottom. There are no chips, cracks or crazing (AMAZING). It measures approx 1"H, 5 3/4"W, 4"deep, 5 Oz
