Antique W&H Co Wightman & Hough Owl Moon Pocket Keepsake Locket Celestial 1904
This antique locket has such a beautiful and detailed design of an owl, clouds and a winking man on the moon. It looks to be a pocket or keepsake locket as there is no bail for a pendant and no area where it looks like one would have been soldered on. Or there would have been another bezel/bail that this set inside of? If you want to make it into a pendant a jeweler could put a bail on the backside. It is marked, "W&H Co Pat. Aug. 2, 04." It snaps shut. In used, antique condition with some wear and patina (see pictures). Measurements ~ 1-1/8" diameter
