A Thing of Beauty Vintage Finds
@athingofbeautyvintage
Hi, I'm Cynthia. I am a shop owner on multiple platforms with 20+ years of experience. I do everything within my power, including packing with great care and shipping fully insured, to get your "thing of beauty" to you safely. I have recently moved to the mountains of eastern Tennessee where I find my treasures and offer them to you, the beholder. I hope you will find your "thing of beauty" here. I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality. I love the journey that leads me to these beautiful things and I hope you will enjoy my "finds" as much as I have enjoyed finding them. Please feel free to reach out to me via text or email with any questions you may have. I am frequently hiking on the weekends so your best chance of a speedy response will be during weekday business hours. Follow me on FB and Instagram where I share additional information on the creation/history of my items. Helping you find your thing of beauty, Cynthia

Antique US Glass EAPG Milk Pitcher Kansas Pattern Jewel & Dewdrop 1901 Antique Vase Farmhouse Decor As FOUND
Antique & hard to find EAPG (early American pressed / pattern glass) "Kansas" milk pitcher is a beautiful piece of US history from the United States. U S Glass Co. began producing this pitcher in 1901, as part of their State Series. It is also known as Jewel & Dewdrops. This would look great filled with wildflowers in a farmhouse decor / cottagecore style or backlit in a display. The glass has a grayish cast and is UV reactive where it is thick. Condition: I am selling this as a vase not a pitcher because I am unsure of the condition of the handle, there are lines which look like stress marks to me but could potentially be a crack or the start of one, see photos. The handle is nice and tight, but I don't want to take a chance with it. I have reflected this in the price. Overall very good condition for age and type of manufacture. Typical of this type/age of glass it has numerous bubbles and straw marks. The bottom edge is rough to the touch but made that way, I only see one shallow chip there. There are some fine scratches/wear on the exterior and along the bottom border. Size: approx 8" h x 5" w at base, holds over 1 QT, 36 oz. Have you found your thing of beauty?
