Antique PNCW Metal Powder Box
PNCW metal portrait powder or trinket box features an ornate embossed floral relief body and a celluloid miniature portrait of an 18th-century noblewoman under glass. Round metal body with detailed scroll and leaf embossing, topped with a portrait lid depicting a powdered-hair lady in a floral-trimmed hat. Commonly used on vanity dressers during the early-to-mid 20th century as a powder container, jewelry holder, or boudoir trinket box. Ok to good condition. Some small scratches from age and usage.
