Antique Hardcover Edition The Works of William Carleton Ireland Book Volume I (1881)

Approx 9.75” x 7.75”; ©️1881; 775pp; contains four of his novels: "Willy Reilly," "Fardorougha the Miser," " The Black Baronet; or, The Chronicles of Ballytrain," and "The Evil Eye; or, The Black Spider." Illustrated. With the exception of "Willy Reilly" these are uncommon Carleton titles. Book has decorative brick red cloth binding, stamped in black and with a gilt couple on the front cover; ruled in black with gilt titling on the spine. Minor wear at the margins. Two pages (that I’ve spotted) have come lose from the book (shown in pic).
