Antique Franz Anton Melhem Semi-Porcelain Cheese Keeper

Antique Franz Anton Melhem Semi-Porcelain Cheese Keeper is 11" wide x 10 3/4" long x 8 1/2" tall. This is a beautiful example of Mid 19th century table wares featuring a beautiful basketweave pattern with pink ribbons and gold trim. It has a few issues, chips and repairs to the bottom plate as pictured. The top is in great condition with some wear to the gold trim, especially the handle. It is amazing that it survived, let alone in this condition. The pictures do not do it justice on beauty or size, it is quite large. Please view the pictures and feel free to ask questions.
