I grew up experiencing the thrill of treasure hunting at garage sales, thrift stores, flea markets, and curb shopping. Now I want to share the thrill of the hunt and my great finds with others. I love “fostering” treasusures then offering them up for “adoption” to others who will love and care for them like I would (for a reasonable adoption fee!)🤓 I love learning about the history of pieces. Learning to identify and value items is one of my passions as well.

Antique Fenton Celeste Blue Stretch Glass Salad Plate-1917
Originally called “Iridescent” glass, collectors began calling it “stretch” glass. All of the colors are in the glass so there is no fading, or washing off of the color. This piece is the 8” salad plate #681. It is in excellent condition (the edge is meant to be “rough”. The 2003 value for this plate was $40-$45.
