Antique Dugan Glass Company, Sky Blue Hand-Decorated Lemonade Pitcher, EAPG @1907
This antique Dugan Glass Company pitcher is a stunning piece of antique art glass. The pitcher features a beautiful blue color with a hand-decorated Lily of the Valley pattern in white and gold. The pitcher is made of pressed glass and has coin-spot indentations on the body of the pitcher as well as the base. It has a glossy finish and weighs 2 pounds, 6.5 ounces. The pitcher was manufactured in Indiana, Pennsylvania, around 1907 and is an original piece. It has a height of 11.5 inches, a width of 6.8 inches, and a depth of 8 inches. This lovely pitcher is perfect for serving lemonade, water, or any other beverage and will add a touch of antique charm to your collection. The pitcher is in very good used condition. There are no chips or cracks in the glass and the handle is in excellent condition. As is normal with glass production of this time, there are a few air bubbles (mostly around the spout). There is a thin diagonal line in the top section that is either a scratch or a pull in the glass (see last picture). The decoration has some wear, particularly the gold gilt. The gold edging on the rim of the opening is in reasonably good condition, but the collar around the opening is worn. The white enamel flowers and stems remain intact; the gold gilt leaves show wear. Please see the the pictures for a complete sense of the description. Thank you!
