Antique circa 1916 Imperial Glass, Open Rose Marigold/Rubigold Carnival Glass Flared Bowl

This beautiful antique Imperial Glass flared bowl in rubigold carnival color glass features the open rose pattern, with roses alternating with stemmed daisies. The iridescent finish is worn but still present. This round bowl with scalloped edges has a diameter of 7.9 inches and stands at 2.6 inches tall, weighing 1 pound and 11 ounces. Crafted in Ohio in the early 20th century, this original piece of carnival glass is a rare find for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Handmade with pressed glass between 1910-1920, this bowl has withstood over one hundred years and remains in great shape! The flared bowl is in very good used condition. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. The color and iridescence has worn to a light peach with age. As with all glass made in the early 20th century, there are a few scattered air bubbles. There are two almost parallel lines in one section of the inside base that are likely from pulling the glass from the original molds. They are shallow.
