Antique (1880s) Hobbs Brockunier Tree of Life w/Hand, Large Glass Compote, EAPG

This stunning antique glass compote from Hobbs, Brockunier and Company (Wheeling, WV) is a true gem from the late Victorian era. Featuring a beautiful Tree of Life pattern with a hand holding the stem, this round pedestal bowl is made of pressed satin glass. Weighing 4 pounds and 6 ounces, it stands at a height of 10.25 inches and has a width of 10 inches. The craftsmanship of this antique piece is undeniable. From the minute 'tree branches' in the bowl to the details on the handle and the base, it is both a functional and beautiful piece of glassware. The compote is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks and minimal signs of wear.
