ANTELIER BERANEK Art Glass 6.5" Vase Hand Blown - Czech Bohemian
Atelier Beranek stunning shape and colorfully fluted 6 5/8" vase signed by artist. This amazing hand-blown vase can add happiness to any space in your home. The confetti pattern of blues, greens, corals and reds are mixed within the swirls of black flowing all the way up to the fluted edge reaching for the surface. All of this colorful movement is balanced between a rich cobalt blue base that transitions to a beautiful yellow finish at the top. The vase is hand-blown and crafted with precision, showcasing the expertise of the studio behind it - Atelier Beranek. History: I did try to research the signature to determine the artist. The Antique Snap app pulled up a similar piece on Artsper.com and it was listed as Jiri Beranek and certified. The piece listed on their site was dated 1998 with stamp. With all that being said, I cannot find and information validating the specific signature on this piece. Jiri Beranek's glass art studio was launched in the city of Zdar nad Sazavou, the heart of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. He was a third generation hot-shaped glass maker. He lived from Nov 21, 1945 - Jan 26, 2021 as a sculptor, painter and university teacher. Measures approximately: The bottom sits at about 2" across in diameter. The opening is about 3 3/8" in diameter and 6 5/8" in height. Thank you for looking at this piece. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
