Ann Gleason Studio Pottery Tea Mug, Singing Bluebirds, Signed, 4", Intricate

This studio pottery tea mug by artist Ann Gleason features three bluebirds having a conversation. The mug has an intricate, hand-made slip trailing design where elements are raised in relief. The birds are perched on long branches with detailed leaves. The inner glaze and upper part of the outside is a beautiful, rich blue, with the graphics laid against a natural stoneware. The mug is 4" tall and 4.4" in length and holds 12-ounces. Signed by the artist on the bottom, the mug is a unique piece of art pottery from Tryon, North Carolina.

The mug is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
