This striking vintage cream and sugar set is crafted in the iconic Heirloom pattern by the Indiana Glass Company, dating back to their 1970s carnival glass revival. Finished in the highly sought-after Sunset Red (Amberina Carnival) colorway, these pieces transition beautifully from deep ruby red to brilliant shades of orange and gold under a rich iridescent coating. A spectacular bonus for glass collectors, this specific 1970s formula is highly cadmium-reactive and will glow with a vibrant orange-yellow hue when placed under a 365nm UV blacklight. The footed creamer pitcher stands approximately 4.5 inches tall and measures 5.75 inches from spout to handle, while the coordinating open sugar bowl measures approximately 3.75 inches tall with a 4.25-inch rim diameter. Both pieces feature a beautifully detailed pressed pattern of geometric stars, arches, and a delicate scalloped sawtooth rim. This set is in excellent, structurally sound vintage condition with smooth rims and no chips, cracks, or post-production damage; however, the sugar bowl exhibits a distinct, smooth in-making factory manufacturing defect on each handle, which is common for this type of heavy pressed glassware and does not impact its structural integrity.
