2 - Vintage Jeannette Glass Ruffled Serving Bowls, Floragold/Louisa, 9.5"

This is a set of two vintage Jeannette Glass ruffled serving bowls in the Floragold/Louisa pattern. The serving bowls are made of glass with an iridescent finish and feature an etched design of flowers and stems of leaves. Jeannette began creating this pattern in 1950 and continued production through the 1970s, all made in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. These bowls are a beautiful addition to any dining table and would be particularly appropriate for the fall or spring. The set includes two 9.5-inch bowls that weigh approximately 1.5 pounds each. They would work well as fruit bowls, display bowls, or a serving pieces for a meal. The style and production is true mid-20th-century modern pressed glass.

Each bowl is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. There are two small areas on one bowl where the iridescence forms a circle (see last picture).
