2 Edwin Knowles China Company Silly Plates
These are two Edwin Knowles, silly plates. The first one shows a man with a glass of champagne and the words better belly burst than good drink lost. There is a scratch across the paint on his face. The second plate is a nose that says may the bloom of the face never extend to the nose. There is some crackling on the top of this plate and some paint loss on the green rim. Plates are made in the USA and they measure 8 1/4 inches in diameter.
