2 Dorothy Thorpe 7 5/8" Champagne Flutes Silver Band Trumpet Glass MCM Barware

This is for a set of two 7 5/8" champagne flutes from the esteemed Dorothy Thorpe in the classic trumpet shape. These feature a 3/4" silver band at the top. No cracks or chips. There is some wear to the silver in spots--photos of both included. Still, I consider the condition of these to be on the verge of "VERY GOOD-VINTAGE."

I am not shining the silver--it is easy to destroy the silver on these and most collectors of DT prefer the darkened silver. There was a fourth with significant damage to the silver so I used it as a tester for shining the silver. I discovered that the most recommended products--toothpaste and Wright's--will take the silver completely off!!! So handle at your own risk!
