Beautiful , highly collectible 13-piece vintage demitasse/miniature tea service made in Japan by Sonsco during the 1950s. This postwar set features a wonderfully detailed, traditional scene depicting Geishas in a lush Japanese garden landscape, accented by brilliant gold gilded trim on the rims, handles, and base. What is Included (13 Pieces Total): 1- Teapot with Lid 6 4” x 5” x 3” 6- Teacups (approx. 2” x 2” x 3” 6- Coordinating Saucers 4.5” Condition: Manufacturing impurities on back of three plates. Paint spots and a gouge that was glazed over. Dark spot on cover, and areas on a few cups that appears to be over spray or areas that didn’t get glazed., see pictures.
