1940's Vintage Handmade Painted Kitchen Wall Plaques- Pot Holder Matches & Memos

This is a group of 2 Vintage Kitchen Wall hangings.

Each one measures 5.75 inches square.

These are both handmade- painted wood.

They are both painted red with white lilies.

I am told these date back to the 1940"s.

1. Vintage "Kitchen Memo" Wooden Notepad Holder

It holds a small notepad and a pencil

The text reads: "Kitchen Memo  -  Lest we forget things we shouldn't let's jot them down then we wouldn't"

Hangs from a red ribbon.

2.Vintage Matches and Potholders

Saying: For You to Borrow  Don't get burned and cause me sorrow.

2 wooden spokes can hang potholders.

Has a little pocket that will hold matches.

Perfect for your vintage, rustic or cottage core look!

These are pre owned and were hung in a kitchen. Not really used- just adored. The backside of the PotHolder one has a stain, it does not go through. There is also a crack in surface- though it appears not go through- just may be the paint?- Its on both. Please see photos. Non smoking home non pet home
