9 5/8"x8 1/8"x5/8". 1931 1st edition of THE FAIRY CIRCUS, published by The Macmillan Company. Features a number of beautiful, whimsical illustrations of fairies & animals, both black/white & color (7 color plates), by Dorothy P. Lathrop. The cover is made of an orange cloth and has a decorative gold gilt fairy/turtle image. Please read about condition below: NOTE

• cover has some wear/stains consistent with age. -front inside cover has name written in pencil.
• on first page, you can see spine slightly separating, however it is still in tact. Just needs to be handled delicately.
• one page has been taped back together with masking tape. Adhesive is wearing off (slightly peeling away on backside but is still holding together).
• the double page spread of an extra large color plate is no longer attached to book. It just sits inside between pages. Not sure if it’s in its right spot or not in the story.
• some pages look like they might have been previously cut out and glued back in (see last pictures). I’m not positive if that’s the case or not, but there is a seam that can be seen on the backside of some pages. It doesn’t affect the page overall.
• although there is a possibility of pages being repaired, I have counted through the pages multiple times and all pages are accounted for.
