The Recollections of Geoffry Hamlyn is a classic novel by Henry Kingsley that chronicles the lives of three families—the Buckleys, Thorntons, and Brentwoods—who emigrate from Devon, England, to settle as pastoralists in Australia's Monaro district. Recognized as one of the first widely known novels of Australia.
