No chips or cracks in gently used condition. Makers mark printed on base reads Crown Lynn Earthstone Polynesia D630 New Zealand (beneath crown logo). Crown Lynn was a New Zealand ceramics manufacturer that operated under various names between 1854 and 1989. Pieces are extremely hard to find and much sought after.
