#0310 Czech Art Glass Green Heavy Abstract Fish Shaped Bowl

Very unusual Fish Shaped Piece of Art Glass in a lovely Vibrant Green with Clear Edges. Approx. 7 x 7 inches. $3.75 import tariff inc. in shipping Weight 1.2 kg. No Chips or Cracks. Some slight base surface wear. Josef Hospodka was a prominent Czech glass artist known for his innovative designs during the mid-20th century. He served as the artistic director of the Chribska glassworks from 1954 to 1967, a period marked by experimentation and bold, organic forms. Hospodka's creations often featured vibrant colors and sculptural shapes, reflecting the modernist aesthetic of the time. Chribska glassworks, located in Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic), was renowned for its high-quality art glass. The factory produced a wide range of decorative objects, including vases, bowls, and ashtrays, that were exported worldwide. Today, pieces from Chribska, particularly those designed by Hospodka, are highly sought after by collectors for their artistic merit and historical significance.
