#0710 Imperial Glass Company Marigold Carnival Glass Ripple vase.

10” tall No chips or cracks Carnival glass, also known as iridescent glass, was produced from the early 1900s to the 1930s, with a resurgence in popularity in recent decades. It is characterized by its shimmering, rainbow-like surface, achieved by applying a metallic salt solution to molten glass. This technique created a distinctive, eye-catching effect that made it a popular and affordable alternative to more expensive cut glass. Imperial Glass Company, founded in 1901 in Bellaire, Ohio, was a major producer of carnival glass, with their "Marigold" color being one of their most recognizable and sought-after hues. The "Ripple" pattern, featuring vertical ribs, is a classic design often found in vases, bowls, and other decorative items, making it a staple for collectors of American art glass.
