Vintage RARE MCM BITOSSI Italian Pottery Planters / Bowls, 2 Different Available-EACH SOLD SEPARATLY! Choose the one you want! Made in Italy

These are 2 somewhat different, Vintage, early 1950's, MCM Era, BITOSSI, Italian Art Pottery, Elongated Planters / Bowls, done in greens, white, silver/grey and real gold. The patterns are a mottled, almost sponge-like design. They are both numbered and marked the same: 78/22 Italy. They gave beautiful glazing and are such unique shapes and designs. There are no others that I can find anywhere. One is larger than the other and done in deeper greens, purplish tones and more gold. The lighter green has more white tones and looks more silvery, than gold. The shape is unique and so different than other art pottery planters, with the ends glaring and curling upwards and the center done in a pedestal shape that is hollow on the inside. These are beautiful planters, yet could also be amazing bowls, centerpieces, etc!! EACH IS BEING SOLD SEPARATELY! Choose Darker Greens or Lighter Greens. The darker/larger green piece measures: 11.0" Long 5.25" Wide 5.5" High The lighter/smaller piece measures: 10.9" Long 4.10" Wide 5.25" High They are in wonderful condition!! The darker green has what appears to be a small area on the rim edge, where the glaze probably 'popped' like a bubble, leaving the circle of the small unglazed area. You can easily tell that it is not damage, but done in the process of being made, because of the way the edges of the small circle are smooth and rounded down inward to the piece.
