Hi... This antique Fox-shaped meat cleaver is a rare find from the early 1920s. It features a steel blade in the form of a wild Fox silhouette and a medium brown wooden handle completing the Fox's tail. If restored the knife is perfect for butchering meat and chopping through bone as it was designed to do. If not, it would make for a unique decorative item in a kitchen or butcher shop, the perfect addition to any collection. This chopper is an original, handmade piece from Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic) and is perfect for anyone who loves collecting antique kitchenware. It measures 9.75" in length by 4" in width with the tail measuring 4.75" in length, and is made of high-quality hand forged steel. The cleaver is easy to care for and should be hand washed only. It's inscribed with the date 25-8-1924 on its metal body.

This rare but traditional Fox shaped meat cleaver is a must-have for anyone who appreciates unique and original vintage knives. This piece has a natural patina from use and age. It's currently sharp enough to cleave meat but I wouldn't recommend it. If intended to be put to use instead of decorative, it will need proper cleaning, fixing of its wooden handle and resharpening.
