🐞Vtg Brass Frames Flower Fairy Print Blackthorn Fairy- Signed 8x6”
This particular piece highlights the blackthorn tree (Prunus spinosa), which famously produces delicate white blossoms on sharp, dark, leafless winter branches before its foliage grows. True to Barker's style, the fairy's dress mirrors the petals of the blossom, and her wings look like the wings of a delicate butterfly, blending fantasy seamlessly into the real cycle of early spring flora.
