Vntg Ardco Angel Christmas Gold, Red Hair & Green Eyes 8" Japan Paper Mache MCM
Vintage Ardco Angel tree topper or standing figurine, Made in Japan, featuring a sculpted gold gown with geometric embossed trim and a serene face framed by red-orange hair. The figure has stylized wings, praying hands, and wears a crown atop its head. May originally have had a "gemstone" on front of crown, but does not detract from its appearance. Crafted from a lightweight composite material (possibly papier-mâché or plaster blend, not plastic or resin), hand-painted in warm gold and ivory tones with a satin finish. A classic piece of mid-century Japanese Christmas décor — ideal for vintage holiday displays or nostalgic collectors. Measurements: – Height: approx. 8" – Width: approx. 3½" (wing span) – Base diameter: approx. 2¾" Condition: Pre-owned. Please see all photos and close-ups. Light surface wear consistent with age. Minor chipping on lower front edge of skirt--was painted gold.
