Give me a giant blinged out pair of danglers from 1986 or a set of bright orange lucite bangles from the early 70s! I love it all, and I search for it....all over. VINTAGE Wooden Ornate Hand Carved Vase w/ Bird & Leaf Design (Includes Copper Insert) - Japan
This is an AMAZING VINTAGE hand carved wooden vase made in Japan in the 1950s. The vase is 12 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter at the rim. It features a hand carved image of birds, leaves and vines that is also BEAUTIFULLY HAND PAINTED. The vase comes with a copper insert that goes 5.75 inches into the vase for watertightness. It is covered with black lacquer on the bottom and marked "made in Japan." This vase is in GREAT VINTAGE CONDITION! There are some scratches and nicks that match the age of the piece. There is a single crack in the wood that runs all the way from the bottom to the rim through the hand carved design. It does not affect the watertightness due to the copper insert.
